Our Volunteer Program in Thailand is a wonderful experience! The program is based in Chiang Rai which is near Chiang Mai in the north of Thailand. Chiangrai is a great location to experience the real Thailand. The town is developing as a tourist destination with more and more tourist arriving, so it is a very comfortable place to go. But it is not crowded with tourist so you will be able to experience traditional Thailand and the locals are some of the friendliest people in Thailand!

The projects where you will be volunteering help the ethnic minority hilltribes, local schools for poor children and orphanages in Chiangrai and the surrounding areas. Our program has a lot a volunteering opportunities available which enables us to make interesting and challenging volunteer schedules for our volunteers.

Every program of every volunteer is tailor made! We will make your individual schedule based upon your skills, qualification and the preferences and the needs of the projects.

As for volunteer activities you can teach English in schools, orphanages or in hilltribe villages. We also have community service projects, taking care of children at orphanages and construction projects.

Our building & construction project is a great example of how you can make a very important practical contribution to the local hilltribe community. In this project you will be actively helping local hill tribe villages to build necessary water & sanitation facilities to improve the lives of the hilltribes considerably. Many families in remote villages do not have enough water in their village for personal use and cooking. As a member of a building team, you will stay in a hilltribe village with a host family and experience village life.

Our program will give you a chance to make an important contribution to the people of Thailand, and to gain an in depth experience of the country and its culture that will stay with you the rest of your life!

With our Volunteer Program in Thailand you can start on any date throughout the year. You will be met at the airport of Chiangrai. There are daily flights from Bangkok to Chiangrai at very low prices with airlines such as Air Asia. There are also several daily buses from Bangkok and Chiang Mai.

You will stay in a guesthouse or in a homestay depending on your project.
