About WLS International

WLS International is a British not-for-profit volunteer organization registered in London as company number 5790744. We are committed to promoting cross-cultural awareness and helping communities in developing countries in need. For 9 years, WLS International has been offering volunteers from all over the world with life-changing volunteering opportunities in Asia. We offer rewarding and affordable volunteer programs in Cambodia, India, Nepal, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

Our aim is to provide quality programs at affordable prices to volunteers from all over the world. We have volunteers from all over the world with the majority coming from the US, UK and Australia. We also have volunteers from Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand and other countries. The majority of our volunteers are aged 17-35 but we have volunteers of all ages with several volunteers aged 35-50+.

We believe that by having volunteers live and work side-by-side with local people and communities in Asia, we can increase global understanding whilst also giving much needed help and support to communities and children in need. Everyone who participates in one of our programs, whether a student, a professional or a family, comes away with a greater understanding of the global community, the cultural diversity of Asia and the challenges that developing countries face.

AFFORDABLE PRICES
Our prices are some of the most reasonable in the industry. Off course there is a fee to pay but when you compare our prices you will see that we focus on keeping our prices as low as possible. Keep in mind also that some of our programs have a single room accommodation for our volunteers. The prices of our programs cover the cost of researching, visiting & organizing the programs, advertising and promotion costs, office expenses, staff costs at our head office and local staff, airport pickup, transport to the project and accommodation.

 

Where your money goes ?

We charge a fee to volunteers for all our placements in order to cover the overseas costs of the volunteer program and the costs of running our organization. WLS International has as the only source of funding the volunteer fees and without charging a fee we would not be able to organize these volunteer programs. Fee levels are set to match costs on a non-profit basis and any surplus money is distributed to the overseas projects we work with.
