About WLS International

 

Who are we?

WLS International is a British company registered in London as company number 5790744. Since 2005 we have been organizing affordable volunteering and meaningful travel programs in China, Cambodia, Nepal, India, The Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.

Our aim is to provide quality programs at affordable prices to volunteers and travelers from all over the world. We have volunteers from all over the world with the majority coming from the US, UK and Australia. We also have volunteers from Belgium, Holland, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand and other countries. The majority of our volunteers are aged 17-35 but we have volunteers of all ages with several volunteers aged 35-50+.

We fully focus on Asia where we are one of the leading volunteer organizations. We spend a lot of time on developing quality programs in Asia. Over the years we have been listening carefully to our customers and have implemented the feedback of volunteers to create worthwhile, exciting, flexible and affordable programs.

Our Mission is to organize quality volunteer programs in Asia in partnership with the local communities, bringing people together to work side-by-side while sharing perspectives and fostering cultural understanding.

We have our own staff in Cambodia, China, Thailand and Vietnam, and great partners in India, The Philippines and Nepal, to make sure our customers are properly looked after during their program abroad. This means that we are able to offer flexible and personalized support to our volunteers. Your coordinator will be waiting for you at the airport to pick you up and be available throughout your program to organize your program and support you whilst volunteering. This enables us to focus on the quality of our program from the beginning until the end. Our resident in-country staff will make sure that you are safe, secure and enjoying your experience abroad.

Every schedule of every volunteers is tailor made based upon the volunteers skills & preferences and the needs of the projects. Our coordinators make an individual schedule for every volunteer who joins our program. We match the skills & preferences to the needs of the projects so projects get the help they need and the time of our volunteers is used in the most beneficial way possible

Our prices are some of the most reasonable in the industry. Off course there is a fee to pay but when you compare our prices you will see that we focus on keeping our prices as low as possible. The prices of our programs cover the cost of researching, visiting & organizing the programs, advertising and promotion costs, office expenses, staff costs at our head office and local staff, airport pickup, transport to the project and accommodation.
